My Secret Weapon

There is little in this world
That makes me scream and claw
As watching my child battle
Her evasive thieves of childhood

I give her weapons
She shows me tenacity
I fortify her surroundings
She reminds me how to laugh

Ready at all hours, eye on the sky,
but the adversary's invisible
the invasion can't be stopped
the onslaught is relentless

So, I lead her to Love
He comforts us, strengthens us
Shows us the way toward victory
As we fight chronic migraine and anxiety
